Wilmslow Pickleball Club receives grant cheque from town council
Several members of Wilmslow Pickleball Club stood alongside club Chair Viv Rochford to receive a grant cheque from Wilmslow Town Council to aid in the setting up of the club. The cheque was received from the Deputy Mayor on the 3rd March 2026 at Wilmslow Leisure Centre, home for the majority of the club's matches.

Wilmslow Town Council supports Pickleball!
A grant from Wilmslow Town Council means that Wilmslow Pickleball Club can get off to a flying start. The new official group, which has grown over the past few years under the stewardship of Viv Rochford, is now ready to go live. Easy bookings, lots of membership benefits and a boost to existing facilities at Wilmslow Leisure Centre including new nets and paddles for Club members are part of the launch. Come and meet us at the #ConnectedWilmslow Community Fair
On Sunday 8th March from 3-5pm at the United Reformed Church community halls, we'll be at the first Connected Wilmslow Community Fair. This is a chance for us to meet you and share Pickleball with the community. There will be lots of local groups offering information and activities and you can find out more about all of the many activities, groups and clubs that are taking place in Wilmslow. Wilmslow Pickleball Club volunteers will be there to tell you more about the game
